Facilitation and Training

Ros is able to use different facilitating and training methods to work with people, staff and trustee teams.

Facilitation and Training

An awayday – an offsite all day event – is a good way to encourage blue-sky thinking about strategy or services. The awayday may be held with trustees, staff and trustees, or just staff dependent on the aim of the day. Ros will discuss with the organisation about the best method according to what they want to achieve or want to address.

Ros can provide training to trustees and senior managers on good practice in charity governance and management. Contact Ros to discuss or arrange facilitation or training.

Management and Team Development/Problem Solving through Action Learning Learning

Action Learning is a very structured, facilitated process with a group of peers (a Set) who meet regularly over a short period of time with a facilitator who guides, encourages, and maintains the structure of the session.

Through open questioning on the issue presented, the Set helps members to define the issue, clarify their desired outcomes, bring new perspectives, explore options, test out ideas and decide on a course of action.

Key benefits of Action Learning are:

Commitment

Set members commit to attend all sessions (between 4-6) knowing that it’s a team effort and they are there to support others and members will be there to support them.

Contact Ros to discuss or arrange facilitation or training.
